Dyslexia Therapy

What is Dyslexia?

Dyslexia is a learning difference that primarily affects reading, spelling, writing, and processing language-based information. Children and adults with dyslexia are often bright, creative, and capable learners, but they may find it difficult to recognise sounds within words, decode unfamiliar words, remember letter patterns, or read fluently.

Dyslexia is neurological in nature and is not related to intelligence, motivation, or effort. With the right support and evidence-based intervention, individuals with dyslexia can develop strong literacy skills, confidence, and successful learning strategies.

Common signs of dyslexia may include:

* Difficulty learning letter sounds
* Challenges with reading fluency
* Spelling difficulties
* Confusing similar-looking letters or words
* Difficulty remembering sequences or instructions
* Slow reading speed
* Avoidance of reading or writing tasks
* Difficulty with phonological awareness
* Challenges with decoding unfamiliar words

Our support is personalised, strengths-based, and designed to help children build confidence while developing the foundational skills needed for successful reading and learning.
