Attention Autism

Attention Autism is an engaging and highly motivating approach developed by Speech and Language Therapist Gina Davies, designed to support attention, communication, social interaction, and shared enjoyment.

The approach uses visually exciting and interactive activities to naturally build:

* Attention and listening skills
* Shared focus and engagement
* Turn-taking and participation
* Social communication
* Motivation to interact and communicate
* Confidence within group learning environments

Attention Autism sessions are designed to be fun, dynamic, and motivating, helping children develop the foundations needed for communication and learning through play, curiosity, and shared experiences.

The approach is particularly supportive for autistic children and children with communication differences, while also benefiting a wide range of learners who may need support with attention, engagement, and interaction.

Activities are carefully structured into different stages that encourage children to:

* Focus attention for increasing periods of time
* Enjoy shared experiences with others
* Participate more independently
* Develop spontaneous communication and interaction

Our sessions are child-led, neurodiversity-affirming, and adapted to each child’s individual interests, sensory profile, and communication style, creating positive and meaningful learning experiences within a supportive environment.
