Hearing Impairment Support

Our Hearing Impairment Support services are designed to help children and young people develop strong communication, language, listening, and social interaction skills. We understand that every child’s hearing journey is unique, and support is personalised to their individual needs, strengths, communication preferences, and listening environments.

We provide a supportive, inclusive, and child-centred approach that promotes confidence, independence, participation, and meaningful communication across home, school, and community settings.

Support may include:

* Listening and spoken language development
* Speech and language support
* Auditory training activities
* Communication strategy coaching
* Support with social communication and confidence
* Visual communication supports
* Parent and school guidance
* Emotional wellbeing support linked to hearing differences

We work collaboratively with families, schools, Teachers of the Deaf, audiologists, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and effective communication strategies across environments.

We Support Children Who:

* Use hearing aids or cochlear implants
* Have mild to profound hearing loss
* Experience delayed language development related to hearing difficulties
* Require visual communication supports
* Need support accessing education and social interaction confidently
