Sensory Integration
Sensory Integration
Sensory Integration support helps children understand, process, and respond to sensory information more effectively. Some children may feel overwhelmed by sounds, touch, movement, textures, lights, or busy environments, while others may seek additional sensory input to help them regulate and engage.
Our sensory-based support aims to help children feel more comfortable, regulated, confident, and able to participate successfully in daily activities at home, school, and in the community.
Sessions may include:
* Sensory regulation activities
* Movement-based activities
* Fine and gross motor support
* Environmental adaptations
* Emotional regulation support
* Body awareness activities
* Attention and engagement strategies
* Parent and school guidance
We work collaboratively with families and other professionals to identify sensory needs and develop practical strategies that can be embedded into everyday routines.
Sensory Integration Support May Help Children Who:
* Become overwhelmed in busy environments
* Experience sensory sensitivities
* Seek movement or sensory input frequently
* Have difficulties with emotional regulation
* Struggle with attention or transitions
* Experience challenges with body awareness or coordination
* Have autism, ADHD, developmental delays, or sensory processing differences
