TEACCH

TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Communication-Handicapped Children) is a structured teaching approach designed to support autistic individuals and those with communication and learning differences. The approach uses visual organisation, clear routines, adapted environments, and structured supports to increase understanding, independence, confidence, and participation in everyday life.

TEACCH strategies help reduce uncertainty and anxiety by making expectations and tasks visually clear and predictable.
